Meet the faces at Physical Rehab & Aquatic Center of Hemet
Paula D. Lawrence, PT |
Paula is the sole owner of Physical Rehab Center of Hemet since it’s opening in 1988. Having graduated from Texas Women’s University in 1982, she practiced for 6 years in an acute care hospital, where she was Director of Rehabilitation Services and Sports Medicine. She has done home health physical therapy and been a clinical instructor and guest lecturer for several universities. Her continuing education has focused on orthopedics, OB-GYN physical therapy, geriatrics, and industrial medicine. She has authored several articles and is active in new program development. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and an active community supporter in many organizations.

Jan became licensed as a physical therapist assistant in 1993 after graduating with honors from Ohio State University. Jan’s experience ranges from acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and out – patient physical therapy. She has been a Physical Rehab team member since 2000. Jan’s interests are many and she has become specialized in several areas of Physical Therapy including aquatic physical therapy. She is also a Lymphedema therapist and takes great pride and pleasure in the success of this program. Most recently Jan has become certified through the American Red Cross to teach CPR/AED and First Aid for the professional rescuer. Jan has extensive continuing education credits and has been a speaker in various forums addressing her areas of expertise.
